Pantherette Youth Dance Clinic 2025 Gr k-6Athletics, Sports, RecreationCome dance with the Spring Lake Park Dance Team at our annual youth clinic! Open to dancers in K-6th grade! No experience necessary, all who are interested are welcome to attend! Dancers will learn 2 routines with the Pantherettes. One routine will be specific their to age group and the other will be a celebratory finale including all dancers who participate in the clinic! Register by 9/23 to guarantee a camp shirt Saturday - 10/3 - Clinic & Fall Show Performance On Saturday 10/3 youth clinic participants will join us at Spring Lake Park High School using DOOR#6 (the main gym/athletic entrance). They will check in (9-9:30 am), receive their T-shirt, then go back to the auxiliary gyms with SLPDT to start dancing! CHECK IN: 9-9:30am, Door #6, SLPHS CLINIC: 9:30-11:00 am LUNCH: 11-11:30 am SHOW: 11:30-1 pm *please have your dancer bring their own lunch if they have concerns or allergies!Friday - 10/14 - Football Game PerformanceDancers will return to perform with SLPDT halftime of the varsity football game! Dancers should wear the t-shirt they received at the clinic again, with black pants and tennis shoes. Registration 6:30-7 pm *Please enter using DOOR #29 at the high school. Send one parent/guardian to check your dancer in, and drop them off. Dancers will perform at half-time of the varsity football game. The dance team will take care of getting your dancer out to the field for the performance. You will meet your dancer near the concession stand immediately after their performance in Panther Stadium. SLP Boys Club Volleyball 2026-27Athletics, Sports, RecreationSLP Community Education and SLP Volleyball Club brings Junior Olympic Boys Volleyball to the community. Boys 18 & Under, 16 & Under and 14 & under to be offered. The 18U and 16U teams will be determined based on a tryout held on Sun September 20th, 12p-2pm. Registration must be completed prior to tryouts, and payments will be processed Monday Sept 21 if you accept your team. 14U teams, all who register will make the team and registration will process immediately. Fee includes jersey and 6-8 tournaments.Most competitions are Saturday only, but may also be Sat/Sun. Tournament schedules will be communicated to you via your coach. No Practices will be held Dec 22, 24, 25, 29, 30, and Jan 1. Players will be responsible for transportation, competition day food and beverages, and volleyball shoes, knee pads, and arm sleeves.2026-2027 Community Education -
SLP Clay Targets Team Gr 7-12 - FallAthletics, Sports, RecreationThe Fall 2026 season will start 9/2/2026 with a MANDATORY Team Information / Safety meeting. Registration fees will include 6 weeks of shooting which includes 1 practice and 5 competition weeks. Team Website. Who: Any Spring Lake Park School District male or female student, grades 7-12, who possesses a State Firearm Training Certificate AND meets all school curricular eligibility requirements. Also, to be eligible to participate on the Spring Lake Park Clay Target Team, you must meet one of the two following requirements: 1. Be attending the Spring Lake Park High School or Westwood Middle School. OR 2. The school you are attending does not have a Clay Target Team AND your home address is within the Spring Lake Park School District 16 boundary. The dates for Fall Trap: September 2 Safety meeting September 9 Team practice/Reserve (50 rounds - the season's reserve numbers will come from this practice week) September 16 competition week 1 September 23 competition week 2 September 30 competition week 3 October 7 competition week 4 October 14 competition week 5 (no school, but we will still meet) Depending on enrollments, our approximate start times will be 6:00. These times can be adjusted slightly, especially late in the season as daylight hours are shorter. Students will shoot for only about 30 minutes during that 6-8pm time block. Once you get through the team registration, you will be added to our roster with the USA Clay Target League. Once you are added you will receive an email from USA Clay Target with a link to register. This registration also needs to be completed before participating. Mandatory Team Info Meeting: The team information / safety meeting will be held on 9/2/2026 at 6:30 pm at SLPHS - Kenneth Hall. Attending this meeting is MANDATORY for all athletes and one parent/guardian. Parent Volunteer Requirements: Metro will once again be requiring that we have adult volunteers score and pull for our athletes. Watch for a sign-up form to sign up for a time to pull and score. If every family supplies one parent for one day, we should have the season covered. There will be a signup form shared soon for you to sign up for any day throughout our season. When you sign up you will be the puller and scorer for a designated field for the entire evening. Please be prepared for any weather situation. Spring Lake Park Bowling Team 2026Athletics, Sports, RecreationBOWL WITH THE SLP PANTHERS Spring Lake Park Bowling Club is for students (boys and girls), in grade 5-12, who like to bowl and have the desire to become a better bowler. No experience is necessary. This club is for anyone - for those that want to make new friends; explore a new hobby; strive for self-improvement; or compete at a high level. Interested, but not sure you are ready to commit? Students are welcome to attend up to two team practices free of charge prior to committing. Please send an email to JoshHodney@hotmail.com to let him know that you will be attending a practice. Bowling is a student club at Spring Lake Park High School. Bowling is a co-ed sport in the fall and a girls-only sport in the winter. Members of the bowling teams are eligible for varsity letters. Students can join the team through Nov 1. Practices are Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5:30pm at Lucky Strike Blaine (formerly Bowlero Blaine). Beginning in early September, regular season meets will take place on Thursday afternoons in Blaine, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake, or Ramsey. Regular season meets will run through early November. Food will be available at each bowler's expense at both practices and competitions.Club members do not have to own their own equipment. They can use bowling balls and bowling shoes from Lucky Strike Blaine free of charge. Most club members will have the option to acquire their own gently used bowling balls and bowling shoes from the SLP bowling club team manager for little or no cost.Transportation is not provided by the SLP school district. Ultimate Frisbee Team 2026Athletics, Sports, RecreationUltimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport combining aspects of soccer, football, & basketball, played with a flying disc by two teams of 7 players. The game emphasizes a non-contact, self-refereed team sport played with a flying disc (a.k.a. frisbee). Players work together as a team to pass the disc down the field to score points in an end-zone. Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It’s fun to play; exciting to watch; and encourages camaraderie and sportsmanship. Participation is open to anyone who wants to put the effort forth to learn the sport with a group of other dedicated athletes. The SLP Ultimate Frisbee HS team will meet three times a week to practice. Practices will teach fundamentals (as well as how to throw a disc) as well as advanced techniques & game strategies. We will schedule games/scrimmages against other area teams & enter a fall tournament. Additionally, if team composition permits, the team will have the option to compete in weekly games in the Minnesota UF Youth League. Players participating have the opportunity to help shape, mold, continue to grow & to build the program as it moves forward.Note: As a club team, registrants are not required to reside within the SLP school district boundary. Equipment: Rubber or molded cleats, turf shoes, or running shoes may be worn. (Football or Soccer Cleats - Best) No metal cleats. Hydration Bottle Transportation: An activity bus is available from Westwood to the SLP HS for middle school students. That same activity bus is available then from SLP HS to the Centerview / NSC Fields.
