Discovery Days Child CareSummer 2025 and School Year 2025-2026 Registration opens for families on February 19, 2025 at 8:30 am. Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1, 2025 to register for Discovery Days. Families who are currently in the Discovery Days program will have priority until March 3 to be confirmed in the program. Families may still register for the current school year program. Discovery Days offers kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work. The program prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Discovery Days is part of our Community Education Child Care program and follows the school-year calendar. Discovery Days is open on most days that school is closed. Children receive breakfast, hot lunch and an afternoon snack each day. Where: Conveniently located at our Early Childhood wing of the District Services Center at 1415 81st Ave in Spring Lake Park. Flexible Scheduling: Three to five days per week, Monday through Friday. Full day and Partial day options are available. Registration Fee: A $25 registration fee is required when your contract is approved and is non-refundable. New for Summer and School Year 2025 - A non-refundable deposit will be required at registration for new students in the program and may be required for account holders with repetitive late payments. The deposit will be applied to your first week of child care for the session you are registering for. New for Summer and School Year 2025 - All child care accounts will require that auto-payment be set-up during the registration process.Child Care Program -

Emergency Child Care for Healthcare Workers & Emergency RespondersRegister HERE. Per the Governor's order, Spring Lake Park Schools will provide child care for currently enrolled school age students from ages 5-12 whose parents/guardians are healthcare workers, emergency responders, and Spring Lake Park Schools employees required to report on-site critical critical to the State's response to COVID-19. Work verification will be required at the time of drop-off. Please provide an employment ID badge (photocopy or picture on phone), pay stub or letter from your employer. HS Activities & AthleticsThere will be two onsite registration times at the SLP HS on Tuesdays, February 25 and March 3 from 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Student must bring the items above to registration night. Spring MSHSL Athletics will be accepted through this website. In order to process and be confirmed for the sport, you must go to the HS Athletic & Activities office during business hours to complete your registration. Student must have a valid Physical (not older than 3 years) on file Student and parent must have completed the MSHSL Eligibility forms (available at SpringLakeParkSchools.org/Activities-Athletics) and bring it to the HS Athletic & Activities office If eligible for reduced or free registration, you must have a copy of your letter of eligibility from Nutrition Services. Learning Ventures Child CareSummer 2025 and School Year 2025-2026 Registration opens for families on March 3, 2025 at 8:30 am. Children must be in Grades K-6 to register for Learning Ventures. Families who are currently in the Learning Ventures program will have priority until March 16 to be confirmed in the program. Families may still register for the current school year program. Learning Ventures Child Care programs provide high quality services that will grow with your child from kindergarten through sixth grade. Our programs provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm, at each of the Elementary Schools in the Spring Lake Park School District, with options on most Non-School Days and Summer. Learning Ventures offers flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of your family! Registration Fee: A $25 registration fee is required when your contract is approved and is non-refundable. New for Summer 2025 - A non-refundable deposit will be required at registration in the amount of $150 for each child approved in the Summer program. New for School Year 2025-2026 - A non-refundable deposit will be required at registration in the amount of $100 for each child approved in the School Year program. The deposit will be applied to your first week of child care Summer and/or School Year invoices depending upon the contract that is being approved.
