SLP Boys Club Volleyball 2026-27Athletics, Sports, RecreationSLP Community Education and SLP Volleyball Club brings Junior Olympic Boys Volleyball to the community. Boys 18 & Under, 16 & Under and 14 & under to be offered. The 18U and 16U teams will be determined based on a tryout held on Sun September 20th, 12p-2pm. Registration must be completed prior to tryouts, and payments will be processed Monday Sept 21 if you accept your team. 14U teams, all who register will make the team and registration will process immediately. Fee includes jersey and 6-8 tournaments.Most competitions are Saturday only, but may also be Sat/Sun. Tournament schedules will be communicated to you via your coach. No Practices will be held Dec 22, 24, 25, 29, 30, and Jan 1. SLP Clay Targets Team Gr 7-12 - FallAthletics, Sports, RecreationThe Fall 2026 season will start 9/2/2026 with a MANDATORY Team Information / Safety meeting. Registration fees will include 6 weeks of shooting which includes 1 practice and 5 competition weeks. Team Website. Who: Any Spring Lake Park School District male or female student, grades 7-12, who possesses a State Firearm Training Certificate AND meets all school curricular eligibility requirements. Also, to be eligible to participate on the Spring Lake Park Clay Target Team, you must meet one of the two following requirements: 1. Be attending the Spring Lake Park High School or Westwood Middle School. OR 2. The school you are attending does not have a Clay Target Team AND your home address is within the Spring Lake Park School District 16 boundary. The dates for Fall Trap: September 2 Safety meeting September 9 Team practice/Reserve (50 rounds - the season's reserve numbers will come from this practice week) September 16 competition week 1 September 23 competition week 2 September 30 competition week 3 October 7 competition week 4 October 14 competition week 5 (no school, but we will still meet) Depending on enrollments, our approximate start times will be 6:00. These times can be adjusted slightly, especially late in the season as daylight hours are shorter. Students will shoot for only about 30 minutes during that 6-8pm time block. Once you get through the team registration, you will be added to our roster with the USA Clay Target League. Once you are added you will receive an email from USA Clay Target with a link to register. This registration also needs to be completed before participating. Mandatory Team Info Meeting: The team information / safety meeting will be held on 9/2/2026 at 6:30 pm at SLPHS - Kenneth Hall. Attending this meeting is MANDATORY for all athletes and one parent/guardian. Parent Volunteer Requirements: Metro will once again be requiring that we have adult volunteers score and pull for our athletes. Watch for a sign-up form to sign up for a time to pull and score. If every family supplies one parent for one day, we should have the season covered. There will be a signup form shared soon for you to sign up for any day throughout our season. When you sign up you will be the puller and scorer for a designated field for the entire evening. Please be prepared for any weather situation. Spring Lake Park Bowling Team 2026Athletics, Sports, RecreationBOWL WITH THE SLP PANTHERS Spring Lake Park Bowling Club is for students (boys and girls), in grade 5-12, who like to bowl and have the desire to become a better bowler. No experience is necessary. This club is for anyone - for those that want to make new friends; explore a new hobby; strive for self-improvement; or compete at a high level. Interested, but not sure you are ready to commit? Students are welcome to attend up to two team practices free of charge prior to committing. Please send an email to JoshHodney@hotmail.com to let him know that you will be attending a practice. Bowling is a student club at Spring Lake Park High School. Bowling is a co-ed sport in the fall and a girls-only sport in the winter. Members of the bowling teams are eligible for varsity letters. Students can join the team through Nov 1. Practices are Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5:30pm at Lucky Strike Blaine (formerly Bowlero Blaine). Beginning in early September, regular season meets will take place on Thursday afternoons in Blaine, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake, or Ramsey. Regular season meets will run through early November. Food will be available at each bowler's expense at both practices and competitions.Club members do not have to own their own equipment. They can use bowling balls and bowling shoes from Lucky Strike Blaine free of charge. Most club members will have the option to acquire their own gently used bowling balls and bowling shoes from the SLP bowling club team manager for little or no cost.Transportation is not provided by the SLP school district.
