Jazz Band 8 - Tuesdays: 

Jazz Band 8 plays jazz music styles that range from rock to swing. All band instruments are welcome to play, and students must be enrolled in Westwood’s 8^th grade curricular band program to participate. In addition to instruments within the band, those that study guitar, bass, and piano are welcome to join.

Jazz Band 7 - Thursdays:

Jazz Band 7 plays jazz music styles that range from rock to swing. All instruments are welcome to play, but participants must be in Westwood’s Band program to participate. In addition to instruments within the band, those that study guitar and piano are welcome to join.

Drumline 7/8 - Mondays:

7/8 Drumline focuses on snare drum rudiments, and gradually moves to marching snare, bass, and toms. Any student currently enrolled in Westwood’s curricular band program is welcome to participate. No prior percussion experience is required to join. Performances are based on student interest.

Jazz Band 6 - TBD - starts January 2025

Jazz Band 6 plays jazz music styles that range from rock to swing. All band instruments are welcome to play, and students must be enrolled in Westwood’s 6th grade curricular band program to participate. In addition to instruments within the band, those that study guitar, bass, and piano are welcome to join.

Jazz Band and Drumline will all end in May with the Jazz Cafe at Westwood!
