Safeway offers teen driver's education in cooperation with Spring Lake Park Schools Community Education. Driver's education classes will be offered in person at Westwood Middle School (WMS) for the Summer 2025 Classes.

Teen Package: 

• 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training
• • Classes take place at SLPHS
  • Two summer sections are offered in the mornings 9am-12pm and two sections are offered in the afternoon 1pm-4pm. Please note the class time for the dates you are registering for.
  • Classes offered each month for 10 consecutive days (Mondays - Friday, no class on Thursday June 19th)
  • Student must be present for the entire class and attend all 10 classes to get their blue card (allows student to take permit test at a DMV location)
• Pricing for Teen Package: $415 full price (payment plan available)
  • Payment plan consists of:
    • $235 due when registering for the class through Spring Lake Park Schools Community Education
    • $90 payable at the first behind-the-wheel lesson*
    • $90 payable at the second behind-the-wheel lesson*
