Drivers Education with Safeway Driving School (Gr 9-12) 22-23

Safeway offers teen driver's education in cooperation with Spring Lake Park Schools Community Education. As of September 2021, driver's education classes will be offered in person at Spring Lake Park High School (SLPHS).

Teen Package: 

• 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training
• In-person classroom beginning in September
  • Classes take place at SLPHS
  • Classes are after school 3:15 - 6:15 pm
  • Classes offered each month for 10 consecutive days (Mondays - Thursdays, class does not meet on Fridays)
  •  Student must be present for the entire class and attend all 10 classes to get their blue card (allows student to take permit test at a DMV location)
• Pricing for Teen Package: $390 full price (payment plan available)
  • Payment plan consists of:
    •  $220 due when registering for the class through Spring Lake Park Schools Community Education
    • $85 payable at the first behind-the-wheel lesson*
    • $85 payable at the second behind-the-wheel lesson*
